Improving The Vacation Industry In Egypt Presentation Egypt was constantly known as the place that is known for Pharaohs, in any case, Pharaonic development was only one piece of Egypts entire history since Egypt has seen numerous societies and a ton of human advancements like the Romans or the Greeks, and furthermore the Christian and the Islamic extensions; Egypt has consistently been a focal point of the world intrigue. We know history and study it from the landmarks, since landmarks are the genuine connection between us these days and our precursors previously; Monuments show us their accomplishments, their human progress, and they reveal to us how they have lived. Those landmarks are our obligation now, we should protect them so as to demonstrate them to the following ages as they can gain from them simply like the manner in which we did; We should comprehend that those landmarks are not strong or indestructible, on the grounds that these days there are numerous landmarks that are certainly experiencing carelessness and lack of regard as a result of low subsidizing or the obliviousness of their worth. A great deal of landmarks are additionally undermined by the urban exercises and their dirtying impact. Egyptian landmarks have been exposed to plundering, pillaging, and burglary from 2000 years up till now, particularly in the nineteenth century when numerous landmarks were seriously harmed or even in some cases totally wrecked by the industrialization showed up, however that was not by any means the only danger during that period since several voyagers have originated from Europe to Egypt so as to find and think about the Egyptian history, yet as they did numerous landmarks were decimated and more were taken. The Egyptian history are in our grasp now, it is our obligation and it likewise will be the of the entire world too, along these lines there must be consistent support and security of those landmarks, and as the unlawful dangers, for example, plundering and theft may build, the legitimate quality needs to increment. When all is said in done, landmarks are exposed to numerous dangers that may prompt their annihilation, those dangers are: The climate and its belongings (Acid downpour). Urban contamination. Agrarian harm. Theft and looting. Overpopulation. Catastrophic events (floods, and tremors). Absence of assets. The extraction of crude materials. Wars. A few associations are shaped these days to spare our history, they have only one crucial our history and shield it from all the dangers by upgrading the attention to the individuals of Egypt and abroad too about the way of life that Egypt has acquired in its history and its job in the human advancement of the world, they likewise create social projects to save and ensure that social legacy, on the other they help with battling plundering and illegal exchange of the ancient pieces. Also, finally they subsidize social investigates and trades between our colleges and outside colleges to acquire information and experience that will help them to ensure and improve the travel industry in Egypt. There is a significant thing that we should comprehend; Tourism hugy affects Egypts economy, and that would be straightforward on the off chance that you understood that just in the year 2000 outside voyagers numbers have reached around 6 million, with in excess of 4 million originating from Europe, the pay that year from the travel industry just was 4.5 billion American Dollars. That implies that we need to apply more endeavors to improve the travel industry in Egypt, in light of the fact that with better the travel industry in Egypt, more visitors will come over which will consequently build the national salary which will end in a superior life. To improve the travel industry in Egypt we should pose ourselves a few inquiries and their answers will completely be the arrangement: What do the visitors need? How to pull in more sightseers? Can we simply depend on recorded landmarks? How might we upgrade our travel industry in the European Union market? In that paper I will talk about the significance of our history, what have we lost? by what method can we simply get it back?, lastly I will clarify how significant is the travel industry in our economy and how to improve present day the travel industry so as to pull in more visitors and improve the economy of our dearest nation Egypt. Body Improvement of the travel industry in Egypt: Since 1982 the travel industry has been growing altogether in Egypt , has the quantity of voyagers in Egypt was 1,500,000 and it began to increment in a quick manner, while on the 1990s that number was high in some cases while different occasions was low and that was a direct result of 5 significant reasons: 1. The harmony procedure. 2. The forceful approach of the travel industry advancement. 3. The low quality administrations. 4. Fear based oppression particularly in July 1992 in the wake of slaughtering a vacationer and in November 1997 after the assaults on visitors in Luxor. 5. The Gulf war in 1991. So in the event that we took for instance 2 sub periods (Table I) where the principal time frame is from 1982 to 1993 and the second one is from 2000 to 2007 we will find that the traveler appearances number was 1,500,000 out of 1982 and expanded to 11,100,000 of every 2007 which implies that the vacationer appearances number is expanding with a pace of 9.2%; while the travel industry limit (Tourist towns and lodgings) has expanded from 27,300 rooms to 190,2000 through the period from 1985 till 2007; Another significant finding is that the evenings spent by visitors in Egypt have expanded from 9,000,000 to 111,500,000 with a pace of development of 12.1% yearly, then again salary from the travel industry has raised from 315,000,000 American Dollars to about 9,500,000,000 American Dollars. Egypt today has about 25% of the entire the travel industry in the locale of the Middle East. The impact of the travel industry on the Egyptian economy There is a significant thing that we should comprehend; Tourism hugy affects Egypts economy, and that would be straightforward on the off chance that you understood that just in the year 2000 outside visitors numbers have reached around 6 million, with in excess of 4 million originating from Europe, the pay that year from the travel industry just was 4.5 billion American Dollars, and that is the explanation that we should upgrade and build up the nature of our travel industry. How to improve the travel industry in Egypt? Recovering our taken history. Antiquated Egyptians used to cover important articles with their dead bodies, what pulled in numerous burglars and grave hoodlums. The burial places that were at higher hazard and more exposed to theft were unquestionably the imperial and rich burial chambers, by the by, poor people burial chambers were likewise looted on the grounds that they additionally contained significant stuff that were covered with the dead to be offered as a penance. Burial chambers had numerous alerts on their dividers yet that didnt stop or forestall the burglary; there were additionally times that burglarizing graves was done at the hour of internment itself, and it is required to be finished by the funeral directors or the burial place watches, in such cases burial chambers passageways are discovered flawless however bodies are looked and resources are no more. The 21st family for instance had their high positioned ladies preserved and they were found as of late in Thebes burial chamber undisturbed, by and by, their brilliant appearances were taken and another gems were taken even before the fruition of the wrapping procedure In the Roman age grave theft arrived at its greatest, a ton of Egyptian artifacts and significant items were moved from their home to Rome particularly, and it would be clear on the off chance that you understood that there are fifteen monoliths in Rome these days. While in the middle age exchanging and dealing of landmarks and ancient pieces have prospered and the explanation that Crusaders had believed that some Egyptian relics have relieving impact from specific maladies; Also in the Renaissance the entire world was wild about workmanship, along these lines, more enthusiasm for our landmarks showed up; something else to be referenced is that Ottoman and before them Mamluke khedives didnt understand the estimation of the Egyptian landmarks. Among the nineteenth and the twentieth hundreds of years numerous important authentic items were transported to Europe for conciliatory reasons. For instance Khedia Abbas and furthermore Said Pasha had given a great deal of landmarks to Archidum Maximium, a sovereign in Austria, as a blessing and it is available now as the first assortment in the Vienna gallery; another episode when Mohammad Ali pasha has given a monolith to lord Philip of France and it is these days in Paris in the Place de la Concorde in return of the clock of the fortress. These days there are just hardly any bodies that are still in their unique burial chambers, and there are less that might be still in the genuine spot they were embedded. In 1995 Egypt has prevailing to recapture the curios landmarks that were taken during the Israeli control of Sinai by Israel itself, burglarizing antiquated Egyptian landmarks is an old business whoever it got more grounded with time till the occasion, and there are still a great deal of different landmarks that were looted by Israel and didnt return as of recently, during the 60s and the 70s several Egyptian artifacts were taken by Israel yet we have returned huge numbers of them to the EHCA (Egyptian Higher Council for Antiquities) from 2002 till 2005, in any case, Ibrahim El Nawawi, an Egyptian Archeologist and a was board of trustees part that arranged the landmarks return, has expressed that we have just restored a little bit of an enormous fortune. Since we understood the significance of our history and how it was imprudently sold or taken, we will require security and assurance over our landmarks and we need another law. The general secretary of the SCA (Supreme Council of Antiquities) Mr.Zahi Hawass has expressed that the law 117/1983 isn't appropriate any longer and it should be adjusted or changed in light of the fact that it doesnt force hard punishments on ancient pieces dealing, and it should be more enthusiastically so as to forestall any additionally dealing. The first relics law was given in 1853 and it was changed multiple times till now with the best changes in 1912 and another in 1983, a few laws contained shortcoming focuses and they likewise didnt forestall urban infringement. Improving the nature of the travel industry in Egypt Improving the nature of any business is an exceptionally mind boggling m

Tourismââ¬â¢s Potential to Fly South Africa, Clipped by Greed Free Essays
Upon appearance in the St Lucia-Hluhluwe territory (a prime the travel industry locale) for look into, I was sure that the magnificence of the zone must be imparted to family. I fired mapping up the chance of a future family trip once more into this region; the convenience, the taking care of courses of action, and different exercises offered by the traveler region. Simply the rudiments signified startling figures, too huge for my average workers pocket â⬠and unquestionably a fortune no other common laborers and customary South African. We will compose a custom article test on Tourismââ¬â¢s Potential to Fly South Africa, Clipped by Greed or on the other hand any comparable subject just for you Request Now I was disheartened to understand that travel industry (as an immaterial utilization) will for quite a while stay an extravagance, for which, the normal man and lady is intentionally evaluated out (seems like a connivance? ) â⬠for ravenousness and I don't know what else. Right off the bat, are the extreme costs called for by the administrators in the traveler locale truly called for? Is this the most ideal approach to run and develop the travel industry? All the discussion about the travel industry being a monetary segment that could initiate country improvement and lessen neediness in under-special networks will stay only that â⬠a discussion, until such when the evaluating issue is settled. The way things are, South Africaââ¬â¢s the travel industry has everything incorrectly, choking out its own potential for development through the voracity of a couple of administrators. The estimating systems of the prime the travel industry locale are clearly implied for the worldwide visitor originating from nations that appreciate a higher money conversion scale. The rationale is to make an executioner out of these guests. At the appropriate time, nearby the travel industry is profoundly restrained and disheartened. It is additionally likely that the lower workers from the focused on nations are likewise denied passage into these significant expense zones. By so doing, the traveler region makes a gag on its capability to develop. It resembles taking away a birdââ¬â¢s freedom for it to fly quicker. It is a pity that this sort of rationale holds the vacationer business prisoner to the impulses of a couple profiteering people and organizations. There is power in numbers. The thousands if not a large number of potential visitors who won't visit would figure to substantially more benefit, more occupations made, and even start the development, vertically and on a level plane of different areas of the economies of the vacationer region. Right now, because of controlled interest â⬠the potential for colossal interest that requires nearby industrialization and a development blast just as growing the administration business is constrained. There are not many guests, and all the more in this way, the numbers vary regularly. All discussions about building up a culture of visiting among neighborhood individuals will remain however an unrealistic fantasy if the mentality of administrators doesn't change. One administrator attempted to disclose the rationale to me; ââ¬Å"lets face it, it is smarter to manage littler gatherings of individuals who pay great cash and act in an enlightened way than gatherings of low paying, over-energized packs who wind up battling and breaking property. As supremacist as it might sound, my involvement in neighborhood dark guests â⬠particularly those coming in bunches have been extremely unpleasant. At the point when they go â⬠a great deal of things must be readied. â⬠I identify yet clearly I am not persuaded, as this conduct may be a method for obstruction. Most likely it is a lot to expect that the administrators will direct themselves and change â⬠the mediation of important specialists is thusly called for. The Consumer Council may need to research these issues. Other than the denied access to the vacationer locale, the poor specialists and merchants attempting to procure a living in these regions experience the ill effects of these constantly significant expenses. It is really a curse â⬠that ought to be cured, in any case these ludicrous evaluating systems hold the economy at recover. Any thing from a tooth pick, to whatever is sold gets contaminated with significant expenses when it enters this territory. Destitute individuals who win next to no to shield the overall revenues of administrators need to experience the ill effects of this dangerous estimating system. The option for the needy individuals attempting get by in this region is to take taxi rides to close towns, for example, Mtubatuba and Richards Bay, themselves not the least expensive around. More cash and time is spent on venturing out to purchase what one could purchase in their own patio. These individuals will never taste the cooking styles that hassle their nose and the offspring of these individuals will just however look at the offspring of the favored riding in cycle tracks, getting a charge out of pontoon rides, etc. They are blessed to receive the air, sound and natural contamination from these exercises. There isn't have to control myself from bringing up that the riding kids are white, and those siphoning in the messy residue are dark children. It is a pity that the Black Economic Empowerment train is escaping many dark individuals in the networks in these regions. Dark peopleââ¬â¢s inclusion is still in the very edges of the business, even the high sounding Protected Areas Act and Biodiversity Act, just as the Integrated Management Plan as of late proclaimed to adjust preservation and neediness decrease, will stay an unrealistic fantasy if dark networks are not placed in the standard. The supposed network contribution in the segment is in the regions of social or ethnic the travel industry, just as trekking. Extremely, the cash in the travel industry business isn't in performing Zulu moving and narrating. Where the cash is in the bungalow or convenience arrangement, safari the travel industry, untamed life the travel industry, of this division, I didn't perceive any persuading network or individual dark entrepreneurââ¬â¢s contribution. Coca Cola Crisis Analysis - 825 Words
Coca Cola Crisis Analysis (Case Study Sample) Content: Coca Cola India Crisis Coca Cola India is headed for an even bigger crisis if they cannot contain it. The strategy of coming together with Pepsi might have been diligent if the coalition could strategize on what more to do. Otherwise the company could have followed its values and plans to handle the issue. As long as the company continues to be in denial and dismiss the reports of pesticides, the more it will be prone to criticism and scare clients away. The defensive style of dismissing reports as allegations, threatening a suitcase and even planning their own experiments means that they are waging a war of words that is done through media and hearsays. This is very bad for a company that wants to appear committed to safety and is not running for last minute solutions. I will analyze how the company did huge wrong steps and how it should have handled the crisis right from the start and at this point. In the short run Gupta is faced with the problem of handling the crisis and lifting the bans that have been placed on their goods. The CSE report based on laboratory experiments has issued a very serious allegation that can result to very huge losses. In the short run, it is surprising how the report has had a toll on their business. To the extent that parliament has banned their products and state governments are conducting research means that CSE must be having a very big influence. Gupta is wrong to assume that the scandal will die off soon and people will go back to normal. This is because this scandal has been initiated and fueled by a very influential watchdog that has even ignited government institutions and so it would keep hitting until the reputation of the company is completely destroyed. The long term problem is a strategic team and plan of handling this kind of problems and other crises. The problem involves ensuring that this particular incident of CSE is not repeated by any other body in the future. The crisis will take a great toll on Coca Cola. CSE having the influence it has might aggravate the issue by engaging on a one on one media war. It is already appearing that it is winning. The company has got the communication part and the handling parts wrong. They have not communicated diligently but rather defensively to the public. Their strategy does not include plans to offset and manage the resulting effects. The initial response was a bad mistake that was followed by commissioning a private research. Gupta needs to focus on the government, and then focus on the people. He needs to be collaborative rather than competitive. The crisis is able to reduce the sales by about 60%, damage the reputation of Coca Cola and possible betrayal by Pepsi if they reevaluate how they are handling the crisis. Coca Cola India was not prepared completely to deal with the problems of CSE. According to this case, Gupta was just wandering what to do. He had not gathered any member to make a strategic plan or mitigate any damages. According to the case they in a united font with Pepsi, rubbished CSE reports. It does not seem like any of the companies tried to do a private background check or took an independent analysis of the situation. To save the company from the crisis the company will have to act in two ways. They will first have to communicate to their clients and distributors and at the same time have to initiate strategic process to manage the crisis. First response They should acknowledge receipt of the CSE and are doing what it takes to handle it. They should communicate to their distributors and clients informing them that the allegations made against them are heavy and therefore the company is conducting experiments from several of their drinks to confirm if anything went wrong. First Strategy The company should express commitment to the crises and accusation issued and in a friendly way rather than war of words seeks for collaboration with the CSE experts. They should invite the CSE to discuss the matter compare the results of experiments and get their intelligence in a friendly manner. The communication team on the other hand should be equipped to give statements time to time about the progress. Strategy and Communication The comp...

According to An effective Change Management is obtained by employing a continuous and reliable strategy. Some of the challenges are resistance, impatient behavior, internal conflicts etc. These problems of the organization should be handled by using tactful strategies which should be formulated out before taking the decision of change[2]. Transformational change management Motivating the subordinates is an important job of a leader. A leader can inflict both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation among the people who look up to him or her. In order to initiate transformational changes, a company has to go through a number of research and developmental procedure. Generally there is a risk factor that is associated with transformational changes and a plan and well organized strategies are required to generate transformational changes. Leadership plays an important role in this sector as it guide the people through the changes that will bring about a transformation in the management. A single change doesnt transform a management system[3]. For a multinational company the challenges become more complex as the operations of the management are segregated. The coordination and communication process with the lead er and the managers at any level is regarded as the most important aspect. Leading with a global mind set Globalization has enabled companies with resources to expand into the international areas. Expansion into the foreign lands require different approaches for different nation states and the people of those country who will be employed will be looking forward to a leader or a style of leadership that they are used to. There are countries which are used to having an authoritative leaders where as there are countries who appreciate the leaders being transactional and democratic in nature. The companies who are a global player are observed to employee managers even in higher from the country of operation. The higher management of the company should have a mind set to work and co-operate with the other stakeholder of the country of expansion in order to ensure the smooth working of the operations[4]. Leading change in global teams The senior executives of the company are collectively called TMT or top management team, these are the people who are responsible for taking any kind of decision and policy making changes in the organization. Unusually depending on the sector and segments in the industry the managers are placed and this structure depends on the nature and scale of business. In order to incorporate the changes the company has to go through resistance and to combat the situation planning and formal approach is required[5]. The higher management should be well are of the grievances and challenges faced by the employees so as to develop a solution and increase the commitment towards the transition. Strategy of the company Word-of-mouth strategy The word of mouth strategy played an important role in the global expansion of business of ABC Company. The managers and the higher authority of the company must be aware of their competitors so as to stay ahead of them[6]. It is important to understand the industry and the problems that will emerge in this industry. The word of mouth strategy provides long term benefit to the business. There are many customers who purchase the products of the company on the basis of referral by the prior customers. These consumers stick to the product or the brand and they prefer to choose this company rather than selecting other company. By analyzing the competitors, the manager would be able to determine what the company is doing and what are the loopholes of the company. This will help them to strengthen their business and thus successfully adopt the word-of-mouth strategy. It is also important to analyze the needs of the customers so as to run the business successfully. It is also the duty of th e manager to keep a track of the customers about the reviews of the company. This effective and successful word of mouth strategy requires a lot of effort and hard work[7]. If the marketing manager knows the target group, it will help him/her to analyze the likes and dislikes of the client. Thus, the company can build the marketing strategy accordingly and provide services according to the preferences of the client. Social platforms The social platforms are regarded as the easiest way for direct communication with the targeted customer group. It has been found that there are more than 70% of the internet users who use social media. It is also important for the manager to keep an eye on the brand promotion content on the social media sites. These content sharing inspires the customers of other barnd and they eventually get attracted to the brand. Moreover, the success of word-of-mouth marketing will increase if the opinion makers in the community influence the people and they shape the opinions in the society. Thus, it can be said that the word-of-mouth strategy plays an important role in communicating the information to the audience. It has been found that ABC Company is encouraging the customers for the promotion of their product and the customers are also happy in sharing their experience. This is considered as the most influential and powerful marketing strategy[8] The growing market, improvement in the business climate, rise in the consumer spending are the major factors will help the business for global expansion in a short span of time. It is also important that the company must choose the higher authorities i.e. people who are engaged in the management in such a way that they have a good educational background in that particular field. This will help them to solve the problems or to discuss the problems with the clients or the stakeholders so as to find out further solutions to the problems[9]. Moreover, the person must also have relevant experience in that field so that they can handle any situation. Moreover, the manager must also be confident when they are taking any important decisions. This is necessary because the managers need to convince the team members and the employees so that they can adopt these steps. There must certain candidates in the team who can inspire the other workers or has the capability to convince the team members. The new initiatives must be taken by the manager of the company and they must focus on these initiatives before giving priority to any other. Moreover, ABC Company must also choose such mangers who can think something creative and come up with amazing ideas so that the company can expand globally in a short span of time[10]. Importance of interest value for the business professionals It is also important that the top most leaders of the company must be of that particular country in which the company was set up initially. This is necessary because the leaders will have a clear idea of the problems and threats that will be faced by the company in the long run. This problem was faced by the manager of ABC Company because the manager was from South Africa but she had worked in Australia with many global teams on various projects such as retail, tourism. agriculture, finance and agribusiness. There were some business professionals who were engaged in the business because of their interest value rather than professional development. This has helped the company to gather various projects which were of different types and patterns because there were different professionals who were eager to solve problems of various kinds. They had keen desire so as to overcome the problems and find out relevant solutions for the company. This has helped in the business expansion of the global. Moreover, this has also enhanced the skills of the professionals and although they did not have much experience but due to their keen interest, they were able to handle them. Rationalization and prioritization Rationalization and prioritization were the main expansion activities which were followed by many businesses of Australia. It is important to establish a quantitative baseline on the effectiveness and efficiency of the business environment so that the management committee can take important decisions on the current and future development of the business activities. The management committee must also have options for translating the applications for further value improvement which will help the company for further development and yield meaningful results. There must be clear communication of the expectations and objectives off all the relevant resources between the management and the clients of the company. These objectives must be designed in such a way so that they are specific, measurable, realistic and achievable within a short span of time[11]. The managers must also co-operate with the client and this is seen in case of ABC Company. The manager supported the employees and took v arious initiatives for development of the organization. The team must also align with the various kinds of application portfolio and the rationalization of the business must be done strategically. There were certain experts who agreed that strategic planning must be done according to the requirement and the financial position of the company[12]. There must also be higher degree of confidence in maintaining the financial data and the information. The decisions must be based on the recommendations which are to be implemented and these must be done accordingly i.e. it must be specified on which order it will be done and on the basis of the transformed financial benefit. These will be important not only for the realization of the benefits but it will be considered as robust and thus must be reinforced with a much higher degree of confidence. This will help in supporting and strengthening the financial information of the company[13]. Importance of cross sectional teams There must also be a cross sectional team in the company and these team shall comprise of the business consultants, process consultants and domain experts who can provide relevant solutions for the development of the business. These will help in driving the synergies and thus improve collaboration which will help in gaining more alignment and solve the multiple perspectives which was faced by the company. ABC Company had experienced team of consultants and they took important decisions on which certain recommendations were implemented. It must also be checked that there is proper availability of sufficient budget and resources so as to implement the recommendations in the company. If there is lack of budget or resources, it will be difficult to implement the appropriate recommendations. The company must also assess the level of involvement and the cost which are necessary before the execution of the various rationalization initiatives. Moreover, it must also be ensured that these des ired benefits are realized in proper time and condition. A necessary framework, if required must also be implemented by the company and it must focus on the understanding, transformation and analysis of the opportunities and implementation of the desired roadmap[14]. The management committee must also try to identify the opportunity grid which is created for categorization of the business initiatives and the opportunities which are identified by various frameworks. ABC Company also does not have any hidden cost included and if they are surfaced, they try to reveal the potential cost cutting opportunities in the market. This rationalization process is not followed by ABC Company and thus it does not allow the company to alter the different cost structures. It also requires initial investment and thus this will help to reduce the cost of running the business. An example can be cited of initial investment which can help in the consolidation of similar types of utilities and application in the businesses and it will also create a foundation for the long term and medium term payback by reducing the maintenance cost and therefore improving the operational efficiency. This will also help in reducing the redundant processes which were adopted by the comp any in the initial stage. The will also help in maximization of reuse of the various utilities in different types of business functions. The total cost of the quality will also be reduced and this will minimize the number of applications that will pass through various quality compliance processes[15]. Limitations faced by the company The most important drawback of the company was the degree of autonomy which the professionals of the company had in developing their own projects. There were many business partners of the company in different parts of the world who did not have sufficient capacity to handle the projects with integrity. This was considered as an inefficient and ineffective way of handling the business. The manager of the company also conducted an analysis of the different kinds of impacts which will impact the business. There were certain key issues which the manager found that it could be resolved and this would be possible only with the current arrangements and interests in maintaining those projects[16]. The stakeholders of the company also played an important role and it is they who have helped ABC company for further expansion. There were certain senior partners of the company who has developed different types of ad-hoc projects based on their interests and expertise. This was considered as an im portant means for business expansion and revenue generation of the company. It was also the responsibility of the manager to define objectively the outcome goals which are considered as the main target of the company[17]. These performance goals are the tactics which must be reached for the fulfillment of the goals of the company. The performance objectives are set to fulfill the outcomes such as providing training to the employees, reducing the expenses of the company and collecting the receivables. It is also the responsibility of the manager to conduct market research on the customers and the industry so that it will help to analyze the product which is provided by the company[18]. The production planning must align with the total operation strategy and these in turn must align with the corporate strategic objectives. The operations strategy and the production planning strategy must align so as to lower the cost of production. This is important so as to ensure that the delivery process and the performance objectives are fulfilled. It is also the responsibility of the manager to check that the customers are happy with the service of the company. There must also be flexibility so as to adapt constantly to the demands of the customers. There must also be a waste free and efficient supply chain so as to minimize the cost. The other related performance objectives will also affect the costs. There were certain challenges which had to be faced by the company before going global. ABC Company had to do the ad-hoc projects in the same way and this did not contribute to the branding of the business. The company had to struggle hard so as to gain global reputation. It has been found that the company had to pass through tough competition as there were many competitors in this industry. A careful planning is required before expanding internationally despite the various positive market indicators. The managers must also be aware of the positive external factors such as unexpected channel complexities, shifting market conditions and the aggressive competitors in the market. The company must also review and identify the internal capabilities so as to succeed in the long run[19]. Recommendations It can be said that before going global, the leaders or the managers must analyze the business environment. Localization must be done correctly and it requires development and support. Moreover, in order to enter a market affordably it is necessary to acquire the smaller business that has local presence and traction. This will be beneficial for market entry and it will allow the company to expand globally. The companies do not want to concentrate all their efforts in the limited region and they wanted to spread out. The companies also looks for such markets which will behave differently from the existing ones in various parameters such as affluence of customers, growth rate, size, various stages of market development and many more. Moreover, the global expansion of business also requires cultivating the various opportunities which are available in the market. As every countries as their own rules and regulation, it is necessary to understand the local language and culture so as to co mmunicate the vision and mission of the company effectively. It is also important to develop a new market segment so as to move into a new country. These also require cost and uncertainty and it is considered as an effective means of global expansion. Conclusion Thus, it can be said that there are many criterias which must be evaluated and analyzed by the company before going global. In case ABC Company, the increase in revenue and margin is not always necessary to cope up with the new projects because there are comparatively larger projects in the mining industry. The ad hoc ways for global expansion does not always facilitate for global expansion. ABC Company must take this into consideration before global expansion and this will enhance the global reputation of the company. There must be distinct and clear communication of the objectives from the relevant resources between the management and the clients of the company. These objectives must be designed in a smart way. It is also important that the manager must adopt the various roles and responsibilities which are necessary for global expansion. References Adekola, Abel, and Bruno S.
